Where can I take the test?
The blood sample for DaNAcare is taken at seven medical centres across Israel: Beer Sheva, Givatayim, Jerusalem, Haifa, Petah Tikva, Herzliya and Rishon LeZion. All appointments are booked in advance. A home visit can also be arranged, subject to availability in your area. The test does not require a doctor's referral, and the exact time is arranged with you on the call.

If none of the clinics is convenient, a home blood draw can be arranged. That is especially helpful in the early weeks, when nausea is at its peak or getting out is hard. Tell us where you are and we will check what is possible in your area.
Before you come

And afterwards
The sample is transported to GGA laboratories, owned by Savyon Diagnostics, in Israel, where the analysis is performed. It is not sent abroad. The answer is delivered to you securely and in an orderly way, with an explanation.

Can I turn up without an appointment?
No. Every one of the seven medical centres requires an appointment, and walk-ins are not accepted. The appointment is arranged with you on the call.
What does the home visit involve?
A blood draw at your home, by appointment and subject to availability in your area. It is particularly useful in the first weeks, when nausea is at its worst or getting out is difficult.

Will someone at the centre speak English?
The centres are third-party medical facilities and we cannot promise which languages their staff speak. Everything that matters — the consultation, the arrangements and the result — is handled by us, in Hebrew or English.
